Job Description for Local Delivery Driver:

We're seeking responsible and motivated individuals to ensure timely deliveries of packages, food, or retail items to our customers during peak demand periods.

Requirements for Local Delivery Driver :

• The job demands a driver's license that is valid and a driving history without any blemishes.
• Competence in operating GPS equipment and following driving instructions is a key requirement. Must have the ability to carry and shift packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Exhibits b time management skills, coupled with excellent organizational abilities and a positive approach to communication.
• Open to working on weekends and holidays, especially during the busiest times of the year.
• While previous delivery experience is recommended, it is not a prerequisite for the role. The job provides a competitive hourly pay rate.

Responsibilities for Local Delivery Driver:

• Safely operate a vehicle to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle. Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and supervisors efficiently.
• Ensure packages are delivered intact and to the correct recipients.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries as needed.
• Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and driving rules.
